Pc’ers dedicate they time, and patience to give the FlipChat1 user the best user experience. They usually work hard, so let’s reward them!
This is a simple rewarding system, consisting in three variables:
Total donations (let’s say 10,000,000)
Total pc’ed hours 1(let’s say 500 hours) (note: this is the total time of ALL pc’ers)
Total pc’ed hours 2(let’s say 20 hours) (note: this is the total time of ONE pc’er)
Now, the pc’er with 20 hours gets rewarded, here is how:
500 total hours ----à 10m gp
20 hours -------------à x gp
So pc’er gets x = 10m * 20 /500 , which is 400k
With this method, all pc’ers can we rewarded J
NOTE: everyone can donate, more the money, bigger the prize, more time pc’ed bigger the time

in my opinion its just waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy to much work not only to gather all donations, keep track of all donation, but also keep track of all pcers, all times they pced, and even if their forumposts are legit ( cause sometimes we see pcers that update forums but then have 1 post and saying pced 2h total pcing time 7h/ or saying they pced 3 hours, while when we look at latest report it was updated an hour ago...)
so for us to check all these points ( and more) ill repeat them in line again
> gather all donations
> keep track of all donation
> showing proof we dont use donations for own benefit
> track all pcer names
> track all individual pcers hour
> track total pced time
> check all pcerupdates for being legit
> more to come if i think of them

is just to much work to do, also then it would sugjest we pay our pcers, while it is and always will be on voluntairy bases.

so, i would say this isnt the way to 'reward' the pcers from fc1.
i would say rewarding the pcers from fc1 should be done by the fc1members ,by giving them the updates they need to update margins, being nice to the pcers.  thats the true rewards for a pcer in my opinion, the respect the fc gives them

I agree with dan, but i think we could definitely do more events like '12 days of christmas' to motivate the pc'ers (like organize this every 2 months or so).

To many users lie about their total time they've pced etc. I'm afraid this won't work.

I agree with dan on this, paying our price checkers will not just be too complicated to begin with, but later on people will start demanding their pay based on the time they price checked. And we have never asked anyone to pc because we are never in a state of emergency where in we require price checkers. All our price checkers have started and do their job on their own free time and will.
And above all- Im sure most price checkers will agree with me that we spend our own time to give back to the community of Flipchat1, the very same community which helped us amass a lot of money for our own bank.
So small events here and there which reward pc'cers to encourage them is good(like the one we just had) but on a permanent basis it doesn't seem feasible.

I feel like this topic has come to a reasonable conclusion. Pcers volunteer their time to pc; and we reward them with ranks. Anything else is just a bit out of the question. But ranks are good!
