| Hello all! Early planning has started for the 3-year anniversary of FlipChat1 and we're hoping that this year we can have an event which is very successful. Although we're still in the planning process of this, we have a few details which we can give you now. The event will be running from the Friday 2nd October until Sunday 4th October. Over the course of this event, we will allow off-topic for the full duration (Friday 00:00 until Monday 00:00).
What will we be doing? Event Duration: We’re still in the early planning stages for this, however, we are currently discussing the possibility of working alongside Jagex to open a JustGiving page where all of us as a community can donate to an amazing charity voted by YOU (information below). Prizes for this have not yet been discussed, however, things we would like to aim to give away would be membership, RuneCoins, Treasure Hunter keys and a few other goodies to the top donors over the event! More information about this will be discussed as planning continues. Please vote: Charities for the 3-year event have been put into a poll for you to vote on:

We will also be running mini-competitions over this event on Twitter - be sure to follow us for these!! (@FlipChat1)
Friday 2nd October:
On the first day of this event we’ll be hosting a Hide & Seek event in the channel. For this event, you’ll need to find the FlipChat1 ranks that are posting clues into the friends chat for their location. We’re currently unsure as to what prizes will be, however, we usually give away items from our list, as well as some smaller items. You will need to select a number when you find the rank, this number being a number that will be a prize.
Saturday 3rd October:
On the third day of this event, we will be hosting a drop party. For this we will be dropping items for the item list that we price check so make sure you’re around for this event!
Sunday 4th October: This will be the final day of the event in which we will be doing another drop party, similar to the one above.
This is a very big event for us and we hope everything you’ve heard so far sounds great! We will be bringing you constant updates so be sure to check the forums and twitter for the next time we have information for you. Many thanks, FlipChat1 Team |
